Custom Design Agreement
Our Partnership for Creating Something Beautiful
The Ashani Couture Experience
Congratulations! You are beginning the exciting process of bringing a one-of-a-kind Ashani Couture design to life. This agreement outlines our partnership and ensures a smooth, creative, and wonderful experience from the first sketch to the final stitch.
Client & Project Details
Our Partnership Agreement
1. The Design Process
Our journey begins with a consultation where you share your vision. From there, we will create one or more design sketches. We will collaborate and refine these sketches until the final design is agreed upon. Please note that extensive sketching and consultation will begin after you have officially committed to the project by paying the 50% deposit.
2. Payments & Final Sale Policy
Due to the completely custom, one-of-a-kind nature of our work, **all sales are final.** To secure your spot and allow us to begin sourcing materials, a **50% non-refundable deposit** is required upfront. The final balance is due in full at your final fitting appointment; partial payments on the final balance will not be accepted. The completed garment will not be released until the final balance has been paid in full, and no refunds will be issued once the garment is accepted.
3. Fittings & Our Perfect Fit Promise
Your custom garment includes all necessary fittings and alterations to ensure a perfect fit. We are committed to working with you until you are completely satisfied. If you choose to have alterations done elsewhere, you will be responsible for those costs.
4. A Note on Fit & Form
Your garment will be expertly crafted to the precise measurements taken during your initial fittings. To ensure the perfect final fit we are both aiming for, it is essential that your measurements remain consistent throughout the creation process. Significant weight gain or loss may require substantial reconstruction of the garment and will incur additional charges for labor and materials.
5. Focused Fittings
To ensure each fitting is as productive and focused as possible, we ask that you limit your guests to a maximum of **two (2) people** (i.e., the client and one parent/guardian). This allows us to give our full attention to you and the intricate details of your garment.
6. Trusting the Creative Process
A custom garment goes through many stages, and much like a sculpture or painting, it can look quite different during the construction phase than it does in the final reveal. To preserve the magic and excitement of the final reveal, we do not send progress pictures. We ask for your trust in our process and promise that the finished piece will be a beautiful reflection of the vision we've created together.
7. Zero-Tolerance Policy
The designer maintains a zero-tolerance policy for any form of fraudulent activity, harassment, intimidation, or threats—verbal, physical, or otherwise. Any behavior deemed abusive, violent, or deceitful will result in the immediate termination of this agreement, with no refund issued and legal action pursued if necessary.
8. The Ashani Couture Commitment
We understand how incredibly important this garment is to you. Our commitment is to provide a wonderful experience and a final piece that you absolutely LOVE. We believe that with clear communication and patience, we can work together to ensure you are 100% in love with your custom Ashani Couture garment.
I have read, understood, and agree to the policies and expectations of Ashani Couture regarding custom made garments.
